This study explores whether and how the Swiss public service broadcaster SRG SSR, caught between public service requirements and the free market, should and effectively does perform language policy demands such as connecting speech communities with other communities of speech, both between and within the French-, Romansh-, Italian-, and German-speaking Swiss regions.
