Annotation

This study discusses how, as part of the efforts to revive Corsican, a regional French language, and in order to invert language shift to French, language activists and academics have tried to practice the model of a polynomic language to what is reputed one language, but what basically consitutes a number of several Corsican 'varieties', each with different levels of mutual understanding.
