Annotation

This study of trilingual toddlers (English–Japanese-Chinese and English–Japanese-German) in daycare centers shows that less possibilities to communicate in the multi-party settings of daycare centers does not necessarily hinder language development and that a higher reception of caregiver than of peer speech does not exclude peers from trilingual children's language development.
