Annotation
Discussing cross-linguistic influence (CLI) in early trilingualism, this study demonstrates how in this specific case, CLI from the non-dominant Farsi language on German and English, is caused by Farsi structural features that respond to general cognitive propensities towards iconicity and transparency, thus offering a unifying conceptual account of what may be called minority influence.
