Annotation

This study reveals that the analyzed year-long network-based online interaction between student-teachers in Spain and the USA, altered by the disposable communication modes such as Skype, Moodle, Voicethread and Second Life (SL), as they negotiated ‘membership’ identities in their virtual interaction. It is argued that one needs to revise the meaning of ‘intercultural’ within a ‘third (,virtual) space’.
