Annotation

This paper discusses the complex domain of discourse analysis in Germany by framing its main trends and placing them in historical perspective. Many discourse analysts in Germany concentrate on knowledge production as a multi-leveled process implicating texts and contexts. Hence, discourse is considered as a heterogeneous object composed in the interaction of language, practice and knowledge.
