Annotation

Exploring the experiences of settlement success, social recognition, and sense of ethnic and cultural belonging, of four Korean-born, US-raised adoptee-returnees, at present residing in Seoul and speaking Korean as an additional language, this study shows that despite their apparent lack of social inclusion, adoptee-returnees do claim belonging via their participation in the adoptee-returnee social network in Seoul in various ways.
