Annotation

Using data from a qualitative study of men and women acquiring eikaiwa (English conversation) in informal Japanese contexts, this study explores the aspects of leisure, desire and consumption, which reflect the business interest of the eikaiwa industry, which commercializes and exploits whiteness and native English speakers.
