Annotation

This study compares the impact of the use of a South African English and Sepedi teenage language variety in health communication messages within the framework of the South African loveLife campaign (also in comparison to the corresponding standard variety). Sepedi youth clearly preferred the teenage variety, but there was no difference as to perceived message persuasiveness.
