Exploring data from written student-teacher communication, involving participants of various cultural backgrounds (European and Chinese) and age, this study sets out to mark important negotiation strategies in dyadic conflict resolution between adults in higher education, by examining the linguistic, pragmatic, and cultural features of each text.
