Drawing upon elements of discursive psychology, this study examines undergraduate nutrition science students' blog-talk from both a participant and researcher/instructor viewpoint. It is argued that students address blogs as a site for institutional talk, responding to the obligatory academic task whilst concurrently managing their student identities.
