Annotation

Drawing on the newly occurring and extensively employed e(lectronic)-Arabic language, borrowing from English and French, mixing, and adapting, this study examines whether globalization processes have modified modern standard Arabic (MSA) and colloquial Arabic at the single word, compound and phrase levels, whilst also exploring the metaphorical language that has arisen.
