Annotation
Although Canadian racist stereotypes do exist, Canadian legislation and the media are trying to depict an idealistic form of multiculturalism. One of the first such instances is to be found in CBC's "Little Mosque on the Prairie (LMP)", a satirical comedy sitcom, where Canadian muslim women are not oppressed or stereotyped, or considered 'outsiders'.
