Annotation

The author collects articles he has written since the 1990's, in the aftermath of responses from a host of creolists and linguists. These articles considerably deviate from a trend in his earlier work, in which he argued that all languages of the world that miss some specific three traits at the same time, are creoles languages, which are less grammatically complex than other languages, given their 'fresh' birth as pidgins.
