Annotation
This paper aims at exploring how the current Swedish government's technology discourse -forwarded in policy documents and public statements— reveils a liberation technology viewpoint regarding the link between modern ict-technology (e.g. Twitter and Facebook) and sociopolitical change in developing countries, especially in relation to potential foreign aid to net activists (cfr. protest organization and dissent in Iran, Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya).
