Annotation
This article draws on Conversation Analysis to explore how a person with aphasia used the response 'that's right', discussing its four functional variants (mutual stance; restored intersubjectivity; confirming; recognition), as well as composite turns involving that's right. This paper provides new information on the epistemic and actional claims that may be implemented with that's right, and claims that a clinical emphasis on agreement can help improve the everyday lives of aphasic people.
