This critical discourse analytic (CDA) study analyzes the representative discursive features underlying George Bush's (2005) second term and Barack Obama's (2009) first term inaugural speeches, to examine the possible ideologies reported by the discursive strategies and rhetorical devices used by these presidents to convey their political views.
