Annotation

Drawing on Internet postings (2005–2010) from one of the prominent Polish quality dailies, this article argues that the hegemony of the directive “grand narrative” of economic migration, subverting the uniqueness of the latest migration wave, is engendered by its entanglement in the multi-vector logic of the post-1989 systemic transformation.
