This analysis of whether House's theory on the positive effect of a cultural filter on the appreciation and comprehension of provided information, applies to the study of the appreciation of British and German users of the Amsterdam Rijksmuseum multilingual audio tours, yields no clear answer. Linguistic adjustments though appear to be more appreciated, whilst content adjustments are less appreciated than the original (Dutch) text version.
