This study discusses the practical use of three languages, Bahasa Malaysia (BM), English and German, with regard to reading, speaking and writing, in three groups of Malaysian multilingual bachelor students of divergent ethnic and linguistic backgrounds, enrolled in three distinct language courses at a public university.
