Geolinguistic changes, as perceptible on public signage in three big rural southern African Free State Kopanong Municipality towns, reveal both Afrikaans erasure, coinciding with enhanced monolingualisation (raising English) and the re-bilingualisation (lifting Bantu languages) of signs.
