Maintaining that the need for unarticulated constituents (Ucs) necessarily derives for pragmatic approaches that concur with the thesis of the underdeterminacy of linguistic content, but consider the surface sequence syntax as the only structural complexity source, this paper upholds an alternative approach of how language articulates content and how it interacts with context, which joins views from Conceptual Semantics and Dynamic Syntax.
