This study explores how a teenage group of Japanese/English bilinguals uses embodied and bilingual practices in word searches, focusing on the locally effectuated and interactionally attained new functions of particular codeswitches, referring to how language choice models interaction and divulges moment-by-moment participant identity comprehension.
