Annotation

This study demonstrates how Islamic preachers utilize the Egyptian diglossic situation, and in particular SA (standard Arabic)-ECA (Egyptian colloquial Arabic) code-switching, in their mosque sermons, in order to transmit social (/religious) messages more efficiently to their target audience.
