This follow-up sociolinguistic study, evaluating linguistic changes in Strasbourg, France, since the early 1980s, interacting with different socioeconomic and lifestyle factors, reveals an enhanced shift from Alsatian dialect to French use, and various ratios of code-switching types in different conversations.
