Annotation

This paper explores adjustment types motivating Italian and Veneto dialect code choices in early child production during family dyadic and multiparty interaction. It is suggested that child-directed speech favors continual acquisition of the most frequently used input language and that pragmatically explicit interactional contexts may foster lesser used languages' production.
