Annotation

This article concentrates on one element of L2 English learner agency (motivation) in a small group of young adolescents in rural Indonesia, and how it is shaped by contextual constraints (restricted parental support) and affordances. It is argued that distributing mobile technologies may help ameliorate future outcomes.
