Annotation

This article deals with the intricate and sometimes equivocal attitudes of (Múscraí and Corca Dhuibhne) Gaeltacht Irish speakers towards Irish intergenerational transmission, describing a current in-group initiative to back Irish-language socialisation and some of the challenges met with in convincing Irish speakers of the benefits of an all-Irish household approach to language maintenance.
