Arguing that interactional units are real-time phenomena that can be realized by a coordinated language-body usage, this study proposes to extend Sacks et al.'s (1974) classic list of turn constructional unit types with a syntactic-bodily one. The syntax of embodied demonstrations needs to be incorporated in the grammatical language description.
