This paper argues that the discursive responses of two British politicians, -the Prime Minister David Cameron and the opposition leader Ed Miliband-, to August 2011 British riots and the Occupy protests, try to claim as directive a substantively similar moralised neoliberal comprehension of the inequalities of current capitalism.
