Exploring potential spillover outcomes among young adults following from viewing candidate-centered political comedy, this panel survey examined how young adult participants were affected by watching animated online video clips harshly criticizing candidates during the final months of the 2008 presidential campaign. Clip watchers assessed public officials, government and the news media lower than non-spectators.
