This article exemplifies how modern globalisation fosters using English as a medium of instruction (EMI) in teacher education (TE) in Vietnam (a non-native English speaking (NNES) country). This global impact on teaching practices appears to be moderated by various local elements, including social and community constraints, progression to education internationalisation, and teaching resources' accessibility.
