Annotation
This paper uses cultural–historical activity theory (CHAT) to re-examine the intricate correlation of language, literacy, and cultural practices across multiple generations in the context of community-based Indigenous language revitalization (in casu in one Indigenous Truku village in Taiwan). Community-based language revitalization is reinterpreted as a surfacing process in which a common aim is actively pursued and discussed.
