This paper reveals that code-switching (CS) does not significantly affect pausing in two sociolinguistically differing, bilingual Greek-Cypriot Dialect (GCD)-English groups, in London and Cyprus. Conversational motives, together with lexical, grammatical and processing matters, appear conclusive in both bilingual and monolingual pausing.
