This article reviews an Oral History project, carried out from 2009 to 2012 in Cyprus, with the goal of 'reapproximating' the Turkish Cypriot North and Greek Cypriot South by invoking a common past, and advancing a common intercultural and ethical language to discuss this past, and particularly the good memories, which might serve to create a common future.
