Narratives from skilful African migrants in the UK, USA, and Australia, reveal their stances towards renegotiating the evaluation and status of their own English varieties in transnational settings. They are shown to parley spatiotemporal scales to their benefit, redefine translocal spaces, and rebuild new indexicality orders in intercultural exchange.
