Annotation

This paper examines whether (Caucasian and African-American) ethnicity affects young adults’ evaluations of (the sensitivity and effectiveness of) religious and non-religious comforting messages. Various significant differences are discussed in terms of their practical imputations for “real world” supportive efforts and their theoretical purport for the person-centeredness notion.
