Annotation
The main determinant inducing the use of English active-passive interchange within the Functional Discourse Grammar frame is the complex concept of Speaker’s perspective. It is argued that information from the Contextual Component gets into the Grammatical Component via the Conceptual Component, thence indirectly affecting the selection of a specific grammatical construction.
