This study explores advice giving in Italian natural troubles talk exchanges in close interpersonal relationship, exploring the potential effect of mitigation strategies and speakers' epistemic management. It indicates the significance of speakers' consensus in the management and discussion of their mutual epistemic stances (less well-informed/better informed) for the conversational results.
