Annotation

This paper proposes the register concept (as lately used by Agha, 2007) to examine linguistic efforts to index the activity of moral (evaluation) talk. This might also enable to oppose the commoditisation of the idea that moral talk is an unavoidably meaningful, emotive, or interpersonal thing, and to consider it as a multifunctional resource.
