This study uses Wichmann's (2000) approach to discuss the role of pitch reset -the beginning of a new speech paragraph, marked by intonation- in Finnish data, in which monologues are interpreted by expert print interpreters, concurrently conveying speech into written form accessible to the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
