Despite the role of English as a lingua franca in multinational corporate companies, interactants' language choice is dynamically parleyed in informal gatherings and everyday workplace interactions. Against this background, this paper discusses the lived daily language (role) experiences of management employees in 12 multinational companies located in the UK, Sweden, Greece, Croatia and Serbia, where English constitutes the official company language.
