Annotation

This article proposes language capital as alternative theorization to Bourdieu's linguistic capital, pertaining particularly to (subSaharan) African development and multilingual postcolonial settings. It shows the link between language and economy and the language capital model may prove handy for growth analysis in subSaharan Africa.
