Annotation

This paper explores the alternating employment of Ol Chiki, Roman and regional scripts in Santali language media. These media are stated to concurrently posit a linguistically homogenous future and a present time highly affected by diverse linguistic settings (Santali speakers being dispersed across the states of Assam, West Bengal, Orissa, and Jharkhand in eastern India).
