Annotation

Using Bucholtz and Hall's (2004) intersubjectivity research, this paper also proposes Davis's (2000) third border talk theory as an organizing device for grasping how mainly White, monolingual college students of basic level Spanish build and reassure race and linguistic identities within and beyond classrooms.
