Annotation

This study of the Amsterdam (capital) and Friesland (province) linguistic landscapes reveals that Dutch and English dominate, whilst minority languages have a confined presence. Variations in the ethnolinguistic formation of Amsterdam and Friesland's citizenries are partially mirrored in dissimilarities between the linguistic landscapes.
