Annotation

This comparative ethnographic study on language choice and religious identities of three Singapore weekend madrasahs discloses how language choice or instructional language, whether English, Arabic, or Malay, may straightly affect or is in a complex way linked to religious identities as shown in an set of classroom semiotics and pedagogical practices.
