Annotation
By exploring four diverging experiential-oriented therapeutic methods (Narrative, Emotion-Focused, Gestalt, and Symbolic Experiential), this paper examines how therapists' (empathic or nonempathic) noticings handle talk progressivity by easing, changing, or interrupting activity under way. Discussed examples are in American English.
