The Conversation Analytic Role-play Method (CARM) is a tool for training organizational communication abilities grounded on recorded real-time conversation analytic evidence about possible institutional interaction problems. This paper reports CARM’s particular practices and its effect on professional (communicative) development across various organizations. The examples are in British English.
