This study shows how reported thought in common Korean conversations functions as a routine interactional resource for participants to share their values and views and remodel their private thought into a public matter subject to other participants' collaborative stance-taking. The study also debates how the format of Korean reported thought, in which reporting frame devices emerge after the quote, plays a considerable role in executing these actions in interaction.
